Admissions consultation 2013/2014

The Trustees of Bamford Academy must set the schools admissions arrangements annually.  If changes to the present policy are proposed then the Trustees are required to consult on their admissions arrangements before they are finalised.  With the recent publication (November 2011) of the national Draft School Admissions Code by the Department for Education, the School is proposing some changes to the existing policy.

This present consultation, for admissions in September 2013, will close on the 1^st March 2012 and admissions arrangements for Bamford Academy must be formally determined by 15^th April 2012.  This consultation period allows parents, other admissions authorities and the local community to raise any concerns, or comment on, the proposed arrangements.

After the close of the consultation, on the 1^st March, the Trustees will take account of any responses received to the proposed policy and determine the final admission arrangements.
