Details of Bamford and Rochdale

Bamford is situated to the west of Rochdale, north west of the city of Manchester, in the county of Lancashire.

It is in a semi urban setting and local residents have access to a small number of convenience stores usually within walking distance. Local people enjoy a good standard of living in a well maintained environment, with a variety of green open spaces.

The people living in Bamford feel they are very much part of a community and this is reflected in the amount of fantastic support the school receives time and again from parents and local businesses.

Bamford Primary has had a close relationship with the congregation of Bamford Chapel for a number of years now. Every year the whole school walks down to the chapel for a Harvest Celebration. The children also have a chance to visit the chapel as part of their Religious Education studies.
