Admissions policy

If the request for a full time place exceeds the number if places in the club, then the following criteria will be applied in the order stated:

1. Compassionate/medical grounds

2. Requiring full time place

3. Children of staff of Bamford

4. Siblings of members of club

5. Children on waiting List / new intake

Behaviour Policy

Bertie’s Club promotes the respect for others irrespective of age, colour, religion or position. In order to create a happy environment for both children and staff, the following rules apply:

1. Be kind and courteous to others at all times

2. Always follow instructions for the first time

3. Always tell the truth

4. Use an appropriate level of noise

5. Respect property and the environment.

If a child breaks any of the rules he/she will be given a formal warning. Should the inappropriate behaviour continue, or if the behaviour is of a violent or serious nature, the child’s parents will be informed and asked to come into school to discuss the matter with the staff and governors. Persistent behaviour will result in the withdrawal if a child’s place at Bertie’s Club.
